India Center recently organized a Conclave, “Two Nations, One Goal” on 2nd September 2014 at Hotel Chinzanso, Tokyo, Japan.
The conclave was a unique initiative of India Center, under the leadership of Mr. Vibhav Kant Upadhyay, to catalyze interactions at various levels between Japan and India based on India Center’s R-M-E model that advocates strengthening Relationships and creating Mechanisms to contribute to vibrant Economy for Empowerment of people in India, Japan and their Global Partners.
The conclave was aimed at fortifying the relationship between the two nations to pave the path for socio economic empowerment in India by building new socio-economic development frameworks based on Energy efficiency, Environment responsibility and Sustainability (EES), thus leading the way for the larger Asian region.
The conclave saw an electrifying gathering of nearly 1000 participants of the two nations from diverse areas including business, industries, corporate sector, government, multilateral and bilateral organizations, businesses engaged in sustainability services and financial institutions.
There were meaningful interactions among participants and policy makers, business leaders, thought leaders, companies and institutions directed towards synergizing knowledge, initiating dialogue for collaboration and establishing working relations with various Japanese companies and research and training institutions, within the India-Japan Development Framework.
Many key officials and eminent business leaders from both India and Japan shared their views and speeches. Also, Joint Secretary at PMO, Mr. A.K. Sharma conveyed Hon. Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s message and best wishes to India Center and distinguished guests at the conclave : “The Hon. Prime Minister remains committed to the vision of India- Japan global partnership and acknowledges and appreciates India Center’s long- standing contribution”
