Former Prime Minister of Japan, Yukio Hatoyama, is also the leader of “Democratic Party of Japan”. He is a strong supporter of India-Japan Global Partnership since its inception. He visited Assembly of Kashmir, India in 2002 as a mark of protest to condemn terrorist attacks in December 2001.

Shinzo Abe, the former Japanese Prime Minister is an avid supporter of India-Japan Global Partnership from the time of the then Japanese Prime Minister Yoshiro Mori. Later during his premiership tenure, Indo-Japan relationship scaled to great heights.

   

Kan Suzuki is a member of the Democratic Party of Japan and a member the House of Councilors in the Diet(national legislature). He joined the Ministry of International Trade and Industry in 1986. He was elected to the House of Councilors for the first time in 2001.

Yasutoshi Nishimura is an eminent Japanese politician belonging to Liberal Democratic Party (LDP), member of the House of Representative in the Diet (Japanese national legislature).

   

Yuichiro Tamaki is a young and dynamic member of House of Representatives and represents the Democratic Party of Japan in the Diet. He is also Member, Special Committee on Anti-Piracy Measures, Prevention of International Terrorism, and Japan's Cooperation and Support . He is a strong supporter of Indo-Japan relations.

Shuhei Kishimoto is a young and dynamic member of House of Representatives and represents the Democratic Party of Japan in the Diet. He is also Member of Committee on Cabinet and Committee on Financial Affairs. This former bureaucrat is a strong supporter of Indo-Japan relations.

   

Hiroshi Hirabayashi has been serving as Independent Director in Toshiba Corporation since June 2007. He is now working for Waseda University. He also held the position of Japanese ambassador to India.

Haruo Shimada is Professor of Economics at Keio University and one of the Japan’s most active economists. He has extended his interest and expertise from labor economics to areas such as economic policy and international relations. Currently he holds the position of Independent Director of Millea Holdings Inc. and Director of Intec Inc.

   

Shotaro Yachi, the former Special Envoy of the Government of Japan has served at various eminent positions in Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Japan. He has also served as vice foreign minister under three prime ministers--Junichiro Koizumi, Shinzo Abe and Yasuo Fukuda--between January 2005 and January 2008 and as a government representative on diplomacy under Taro Aso.

Dr. P S Rana, the former Chairman and Managing Director of the Housing and Urban Development Corporation Ltd. (HUDCO) is an expert in the field of urban transport management. Dr. Rana has over 33 years of experience in research, consultancy, planning and management of multi-modal integrated mass transport systems and urban bus operations.

   

K. Roy Paul joined the Indian Administrative Service in 1967. During his 37 years of service, he held a number of important and responsible executive positions in the Government of Bihar and the Government of India. He brought about revolutionary changes in the policy framework governing the civil aviation sector. He also served as member of Union Public Service Commission .

Dilip Cherian is considered as India’s foremost image ‘management guru’. He has worked as a Consulting Partner with Perfect Relations, country’s largest management company. He is founder/Editor of News Joy, sub-continent’s only newspaper for children. He also writes syndicated columns and comments on the country’s economic and political environment.

   

M.V. Rajasekharan is former Union Minister of State in the Ministry of Planning, Government Of India. He first became a member of the Lok Sabha from the State of Karnataka in 1967. He specializes in the field of rural development. He was awarded "Vishvasharana" for being an outstanding personality in Social Development by the National NGO Council of Sri Lanka in July 2000; guided and monitored rural development projects in sericulture development.

Prahlad Kakkar is a leading ad-film Director of India. He is also the Founder Director of Genesis Film Production, one of the leading production houses of India. He has also ventured into film making and worked with renowned Directors.

   

Shahid Siddiqui, ex-member of Parliament (Rajya Sabha) is a noted politician of India. He is also a famous journalist and columnist . He has launched an Urdu Weekly ‘Nai Duniya’, the largest circulated Urdu weekly in India. He is also credited with the launch of Hindi weekly “Nai Zameen”.
